TERRITORIAL SCALE: CONURBATION
The territory of Erice extends from the tops of Erice Vetta, where the historical centre is in a rock at 756 m. above sea level, up to the sea. Today it attracts many tourists due to the particular beauty of its town centre of very ancient origins.
The territory, urbanised in more recent periods, at the foot of Mount Erice, is characterised by the hamlets of Casa Santa, Trentapiedi where the main economic activities are concentrated.
The consolidated urban centre extends to the plain under the slopes of Mount Erice and it includes various hamlets like Rigaletta-Pegno, Casa Santa-Raganzili, as well as the a tourist resort of Pizzolungo. The other districts includes the rural villages of Napola and Ballata.
