The study site well complies with the theme “European urbanity. Sustainable city and new public spaces”.
In fact, its urban expansion, developed essentially along the historical roads, has generated some “voids” among the single housing lots that represent fundamental resources for the development of this part of the town. This development will favour the re-organisation of functions, services, mobility, urban morphology, relation with the private spaces, by focusing on the realization of new public spaces: squares, gardens, reserved pedestrian trails, and by improving the natural areas (uncultivated areas, river banks), the dump or the degraded areas (DANO plant and a facility for concrete mixing)
